Cogitatio Aeterna is a game about thoughts that exist beyond publications and public statements — about the inner tension and pressure accompanying the formation of young artists in the professional community. It is a meditative journey through two parallel realities connected by invisible threads — a story of artists co-existing within the same system yet remaining on opposite shores. The player observes how experiences within one shared field can differ so drastically from one another. Played in first person, you interact with objects in space and hear in return inner monologues — thoughts that are rarely spoken aloud, preserved in silence to remain within “the circle.” These are phrases written by artists who have experienced disappointment, burnout, and exhaustion from the constant need to define themselves and their practice — reflections on the unspoken injustices within the professional environment. There are no victories here. No tasks to complete. Only presence, sensing, and the quiet debate between parallel streams of thought. *-----------------------------* Here we present an alpha-build made with Unity in October, 2025. Игра о мыслях, которые возникают за пределами публикаций и открытых высказываний, о внутреннем напряжении и давлении, возникающих на пути становления молодых художников и художниц в профессиональной среде. Cogitatio Aeterna — это медитативное путешествие через две параллельные реальности, связанные невидимыми нитями. Это история о художниках, со-существующих в единой системе, но остающихся на разных берегах. Игрок наблюдает за тем, насколько опыт в единой сфере деятельности может отличаться друг от друга. Вы играете от первого лица, взаимодействуя с объектами в пространстве — и слышите в ответ внутренние монологи, мысли, которые не принято произносить вслух, чтобы оставаться внутри «тусовки». Это фразы, написанные художниками, пережившими разочарование, выгорание, уставшими от постоянной необходимости самоопределения себя и своих практик, об умалчиваемой несправедливости в профессиональной среде. Здесь не нужно побеждать. Не нужно решать задачи.
